This piece is a multi-layer construction with an implied purpose of preforming the duties of a magnifying or visual clarifying device. It is a simple chest, inlaid with glass, with each drawer labeled with foreboding text. These classifications actually reflect the content of the particular drawer in question and how this drawer alters the magnification properties of the device.

Two drawers have been removed in an attempt to illustrate and exemplify the possible contents of the other unseen drawers. One of these drawers is labeled "Things to Think About" and shows a picture of a swirling universe figure with a magnifying location in the center. The other, which is labled literally"What Are Those Things" (This is not a type-o, people!) has locust and other assorted bug exoskeletons around the edges with a similar glass center.

In perspective and summary, I concluded from both the conglomerated evidence and my personal viewpoint that the theme of this artwork is how we are all connected. This chest is representitive of the trials and stages of life, with the individual drawers representative of specific although relevant experiences and contemplations that are relevant to the infinetly perplexing realm of human circumstance. These "circumstances" can be removed by the "viewer" to simulate and reveal through a different media how their life dictates how they communicate, explain, interact and shape both the physical and unconscious environment.
